In the book, the Slippery Slope, by Lemony Snicket, the main characters are Count Olaf, Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire. Violet is the oldest child in the Baudelaire family and she is important because she is the engineering person who makes her own inventions to get her siblings out of trouble. Klaus is the second oldest, and he is important because he is very smart, loves to read books, and he memorizes la lot information., to help him out in the future. Klaus also likes to learn new knowledge from something that happened in the past. Sunny is the youngest of the Baudelaire children, and she is important because she helps all three of them stick together and work as a team. Sunny is also the cook out of all three of them. Count Olaf is the villain who always has wanted to steal the fortune of the Baudelaire children, he even burned down the mansion of the children and murdered the Baudelaires parents. Violet is a static person who doesn’t change, is shy, inventive, curious, and economical when it comes to getting her siblings out of trouble from the villain count Olaf. On page 195, it states,”the waterfall will be very slippery,” Volet explained,”so I am using the Ukulele strings to tie these bent forks to the toe area, to make fork-assisted climbing shoes. We’ll hold two more forks in our hands. Tines of the forks are almost as sharp as Sunny’s teeth, so the fork-assisted climbing shoes will easily dig into the ice with each step, and enable us to keep our balance.” Klaus is a static person who doesn’t change, smart, out of the ordinary, curious, passion for researching, and is a knowledge seeker because according to page 191 it states,”Unless you need any further assistance,” he said, “I think I might go examine the wreckage of the library and see if any of the documents have survived. We might as well learn as much from this headquarters as we can.” Sunny is brilliant, hardworking for a three year old, Sunny is a static person who never changes but is still kind-hearted and does anything to help out with her siblings. Count Olaf is a no good, evil person who would do anything for a lot of money, and he is a dynamic person because he changes his whole appearance to try to get the Baudelaire fortune.
